1. Do I need a permit to build a deck?

Answer: Yes, in most areas, a building permit is required for decks above a certain height or attached to a structure. We handle all the permitting and code compliance for you to ensure your project is safe and legal.

2. How long does it take to build a deck?

Answer: The average time it takes for us to build a custom deck is about 3 days. This is completely dependent on size of deck and complexity of design, but generally we can finish quick and get you on your deck.

3. Can you build custom deck designs?

Answer: Absolutely! We specialize in custom decks tailored to your space, style, and budget — including multi-level decks, built-in seating, railings, and more.

4. Do you offer warranties on your work?

Answer: Foremost provides a standard 10-year structural warranty, a lifetime warranty on helical piers, a 2-year total craftsmanship warranty, and a 5-year limited warranty on craftsmanship (certain fees may apply after the initial 2 years).
